Blue Lagoon Bar and Eatery — Restaurant in North Island

We just came from Auckland CBD and new to Coromandel, also really tired and so we rent a place on the apartment. When we’re looking for a place to eat, the guys said we got 20% discount if we go to Blue Lagoon. So that’s what we did. When we got here, the place is having a function (a Christmas party) So basically it’s really busy, especially the staff. But that didn’t stopped them to deliver a wonderful service to us. English is not our first language but they welcome us and guide us on our food. The food is amazing and the staff are really helpful. We are the last guest and still they serve us dessert and as a customer looking at the staff who’s really busy that night, They still manage to deliver a quality service! Amazing amazing amazing!! Despite blue lagoon being super busy for the long week, the staff managed to give us a table regardless of how busy they were! My partner and I had the eye fillet and chicken burger along with an entree of calamari, two spirits & two cocktails of long island iced tea & it was super delightful.

They ran out of items on the menu such as the garlic bread (it looked amazing on another table) due to being busy but that was very understandable but also provided us a meal on the house explains how well they treat their customers & services. I gotta say, the steak was one of a kind (probably one of the best steaks I have ever had) it was juicy, succulent and cooked beautifully as I wanted it rare.

Will be coming back, and of course it is worth the wait if they are busy! Thank you to the waiters/ kitchen staff for working so well...
