Went here for our dinner and SO glad we did!!! I had the vege/egg burger and hubby had the steak/egg burger...Yummo!!! Mine was a decent vege burger and soooo tasty and hubby said his burger was superb! Our chips were hot and crunchy and our thickshakes were perfect, we even got a free donut!! The guys at Buffalo Takeaways know their stuff as our meal was delicious!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

On holiday and looked at reviews, not wrong would be the best fish and chips I have ever had. Snapper so fresh and great size. Beautiful batter and chips great. Ordered 3 fish got 4 and 3 mussels and got 4. Nice clean shop and could see some of the cooking. Happy staff. Perfect had on the beach less than 100 meters away. Felt like going back and getting more but too full. Good price. Thank you!!

This was absolutely disgusting probably the worst takeaways I have gotten from whitianga they did not cut up or cook the onion on the burgers properly and left them in chunks raw in my bacon and egg burger the chips look like the oil hasn’t been changed in over a week ,one bite into the bigger and straight away I gagged it disappointingly honestly

What can i say i stopped in and was greeted with such lovely customer service by Sandra who was patient while i ordered my meal i tried the burger and chips special for $8 added an egg and had to try a Dory and good old fish n chips just wouldnt be right without some watties on the side for the chips taste was great service with a smile the burger came with beetroot which u dont see often now days just like a good ol kiwi burger well done! Buffalo Beach Takeways Will definately be back and recommend to friends and family thanks a bunch 1 happy...

These guys ROCK!

The only Takeaways in Whitianga who continued serving after the Summer Concert on Sunday 26th January 2020.

They kept smiling and providing friendly service throughout dealing with peoples drunken behaviour, short staffed, working late, running out of supplies and the never ending queue.

WELL DONE TEAM!!! Your efforts did not go unnoticed and you are APPRECIATED!!! THANK YOU for going above and beyond to feed us all your yummy food!!
