We’ve found the best place to dine! More on that in a moment but, even though we’re not adventurous when it comes to trying new food, I can vouch that the butter chicken here is on point! If you’re a fan of the Indian cuisine inside the mall food courts, you’ll definitely love this place.
Our go-to is the butter chicken combo. Half rice, half butter chicken and a naan bread for $12.50 and it’s such a score considering you could buy the same for almost double the price elsewhere. It’s sweet and creamy with a small hint of spice in the aftertaste. 10/10 for flavour, portion size and affordability.
The lovely lady that runs the store has amazing customer service skills and makes you feel at home when you dine in store too.
I can’t comment on other dishes but this is one of our favourite places to dine and we travel from Morrinsville too....

It was such a homely experience that AUNTY gave us, once we entered the restaurant with our 2 families of 9, in which 5 were children, all starving for something Indian after a few days of fish/chips/nuggets in NZ! She accommodated all of us into their small take away place.. Food was simply superb, loved their 'madras chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken briyani, palak paneer n hot naans!! Finger licking good!! Yummy!! She gave us all n more than what we had ordered..all with a smiling face!! No words can describe my experience at this stall! My friends and I come from Singapore, and had strong craving for fish & chips. Chances upon this stall and ordered butter chicken and the “$10 special”. It was totally worth the value especially for the $10 special. 2 “HUGE” fishes, 2 fried circular potatoes, 2 LONG crab sticks and loads of fries! The butter chicken is really sweet as well! Trust me!
