I placed my order online as I could see how buzy the drive through was. I waited the 20 mins till the time given and went in store to pick up my order. There were a few customers waiting but there was only one lady at the counter who looked to be waiting for service. There was no worker on the till side, they were all behind 2 of them just wandering around aimlessly. One going and filling himself a drink, then taking a drink putting the cup down and then scooping fries from one side to the other before placing some in a carton. Alarms were going off and I could hear the young female worker continously asking for one of her co workers to hit the button. She was the only one who seemed to be multi tasking and packing orders for the front of the shop along with the drive through. The woman who was stood at the counter was asked twice could she be helped by the 2 young boy workers, she replied each time she was only waiting for her chips. On the 3rd time she was asked 10 minutes after I had been stood waiting she finally said can you just get my chips now please. A small carton of chips was then filled for her, as she turned to walk away she said to me 20 mins waiting for these! I then stepped up to the counter and waited and waited before someone acknowledged me. By now 15 mins since my order was meant to have been ready. I waited 25 mins all up. My chips were cold, and the carton was 1/4 filled. This service is absolutely appalling. 6 workers, with only one of them doing her job. There were no adults, all teenagers. I wish the KFC headquarters read all these comments for Thames KFC and acts fast for their hopeless service especially the Indian guy “manager” your customer service needs the highest quality of improvement. Firstly you need to higher more staff, “out of hot and spicy” when you know well that currently everyone is going for hot n spicy as this is the only season where KFC brings in their so call “Hot n spicy”so you and your cook need to stock up, if your cook went for lunch and there is no one to cook so please put a closed sign on the door, secondly this place requires some serious housekeeping table, toilets, toddler seat, all dirty,,, brooms, mops left around the front counter at last when you go to order there are no plates available asked the guy don’t you check your stock and order them I mean how we going to eat..the so call manager replied the plate boxes are free and if we don’t have them we don’t bother I had a toddler and infant with me how can I feed them out from the bucket. Read moreWorst KFC i have ever been to. We waited in line for 30 minutes! With only a group of four and three others ahead of us. The service was ridiculously slow for no apparent reason. Once it was finally our time to order they were not doing sliders. I ordered the Aioli bacon burger, when i got given my meal i get told "im not sure if she told you but we have no bacon". So i had paid for one of the most expensive burgers missing its main ingredient... along with the crispy onions. it was just a normal burger with aioli. The chips had no salt whatsoever and we had to go back and ask for salt. During this time a customer came in from the drive thru who had been waiting 15 minutes for his order parked up and they hadn't even started it... Truly awful service,...
