We came into the restaurant it was a warm welcome and everything seemed fine but as we sat down they told us there was a big table that was being served first and we were told it would take a bit. We were understanding and ordered food which was a noodle dish and a salad, one drink and one bingsu.

We got our drink not too long into ordering and It took around 40 minutes to an hour until my partners food arrived which was just one noodle dish. I was waiting for half an hour longer after his arrived and had been noticing other tables being served despite coming after us, until one of the waitresses came up and told me that they had forgotten my order... 1 hour and a half into waiting. It just felt incredibly unprofessional to have not clarified orders with us who had been waiting the longest and instead start serving others that had come in for 10 minutes.

That was when I started feeling a bit annoyed at the service. The big table had already left half an hour ago and only now they came up to clarify with me on what I had ordered which was just a salad.

When they made the salad it took them 2 minutes and the portion was ridiculously small consisting of 4 pieces of raw vegetables and a thin layered palm sized portion of dry mince for a pretty high price.

I was really upset having waited so long for such little food. The bingsu arrived on time after finishing our main food which was good but I felt as though I didnt need to wait that long for my first dish. That was incredibly disappointing. I remained polite to them and had patience despite being upset however the waitress never apologized and instead came up to offer a drink to us in a very petty tone and started promoting why its such an amazing drink and why their food is so great which felt a bit like she was rubbing in our faces that we should be grateful to recieve this beverage for free.

Overall, felt ripped off of our money and experience and left feeling very belittled and...

Truly one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. We were left sitting for nearly 40 minutes between entrée and main, completely ignored, with not so much as a simple update or apology. When we finally asked what was happening, the staff’s response was unbelievably rude: “We’re not a takeaway place.” An irrelevant, snarky remark instead of even the most basic level of courtesy.

The food itself was hardly worth waiting for. The entrée was forgettable, and the mains — when they finally arrived — were lukewarm and bland. I’ve had better meals at food courts. For the price, the quality was absolutely insulting.

What made it worse than the food was the service. The staff were dismissive, arrogant, and gave the impression that customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the restaurant exists. Hospitality clearly isn’t part of their vocabulary.

Every step of this meal was handled poorly: long delays, no communication, no apology, no accountability, and no respect. The entire experience screamed of a place that doesn’t care about its food, its service, or its customers.

There are countless restaurants that deliver better food, faster service, and at least a shred of professionalism. This establishment delivers none of that. If you value your time, your money, or your mood, avoid this place...

Good place if you’re looking for new flavours to try.

The Khao Soi Curry Noodle Soup is flavourful and has a slight hint of spicy. They give you a side of chilli paste if you want it to be more spicy. Personally I think it’s not spicy enough with the amount of chilli paste given. A good idea is to give each table their own jar of chilli so they can add on their own to adjust the spiciness their to preference. The noodles are ok, it doesn’t really have much flavour since the soup is not very strong or thick since I got the soup curry so the noodles don’t coat very well which isn’t a problem since it’s meant to be like that because it’s soup curry. The chicken is ok, a tiny bit dry but that’s because it’s stewed. The crunchy noodles was great, I really liked it, give the dish more texture and flavour. A suggestion to make the dish more appetising is to serve it hotter. I prefer dishes that come out very hot because it brings out the aroma of the dishes especially if it’s curry related. Overall a nice dish that I would recommend trying.

The Bingsu was very nice as well, I definitely recommend. My only complaint is that there isn’t enough sauce or toppings because there was a lot shaved ice but the toppings were gone...

We first discovered Khao Soi back in June, and it quickly became one of our favourite places to eat. That evening, we ordered the Khao Soi curry noodle soup and the Cha Thai bingsu. We enjoyed it so much that we went back just four days later… and many more times after that! Today, we returned once again for a birthday celebration. It reminded us exactly why we keep coming back: delicious food, beautiful interiors, and wonderful staff. This time, we ordered the tomato pork dip, classic Thai satay, flame-grilled beef, and of course, our staples - Khao Soi curry noodle soup and Cha Thai bingsu. Everything was really good! To top it all off, the staff surprised the celebrant with a cake complete with a birthday song - an incredibly thoughtful gesture, and yes, the cake was superb too! Khao Soi never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again!

Tried Khao Soi’s Wellington on a Plate burger "Soi Mate" and it absolutely deserved its spot in the Top 5 this year! Service was excellent – my waitress was really friendly and even offered extra curry sauce. The burger came out in about 20 minutes and was huge compared to others I’ve had for the same price. It was beautifully presented with curry sauce, a lime wedge, and finely chopped veggies. The brioche bun was soft and rich, the crispy noodles and pickled onions added great texture, and all the flavours came together perfectly. The Beef eye fillet patty was juicy and had plenty of flavour. Wish this was a permanent menu item, so excited to see what they come up with for next year's competition!
