As a vegetarian who's mostly vegan, I used to love ReBurger, but sadly they got rid of the delicious mushroom burger and instead replaced it with a couple of "impossible beef" burgers. Since haloumi isn't my thing, I decided to try the fake beef burger ("impossible smokehouse"), and it was absolutely disgusting. The problem was the fake beef patty - I'm not sure if that's what real beef tastes like, but either way, the patty was yucky and unpalatable. I didn't want to throw away the burger though, so I swapped out the patty with some onion rings instead and it was so much better. Which made me wonder, why not just offer an onion rings burger, if you don't want to use mushrooms? Or maybe try being a bit creative and make use of a million other real plant-based alternatives, like say using corn fritter/chickpeas/potatoes/falafel etc - you get so much more variety of yummy flavors, and I'm sure it's not as expensive as fake beef. Your product is on their app. If they are tarnishing your product then dont partner with them, quality should be more important than quick sales. Unfortunately the earliest time I could select on the website was 1:50pm, so I selected that figuring they were especially busy. When I turned up at 1:30 I found the restaurant completely empty, and the staff member just waiting before fulfilling my order.
Obviously not the fault of anyone working here, but a pretty terrible online ordering system if they're placing a pointless, artificial wait on customer orders.
