Super Casual Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in North Island

Stumbled upon this place totally by accident a couple of weeks ago, when my daughter & I went to Rotorua for her birthday and had no idea where to have a descent lunch meal without walking out broke or still Hungry or worse still not happy cause the meal was a big FAIL, parked to go somewhere else and looked at the menu on the window and saw Steak, chips & Salad for $15.We decided why not let's give this place a try, OH MY GOSH GUYS we were not disappointed, the STEAK WAS COOKED EXACTLY TO OUR LIKING the SEASONING WAS FAULTLESS to the point I love my gravies but there was no way I was going to ruin my perfect STEAK, CHIPS 👍🏼and the SALAD WAS ONE OF THE BEST SALADS I HAVE TASTED IN A VERY LONG TIME...A BIG THANK YOU TO THE CHEF/OWNER YOU DONE AN AMAZING JOB 👏 WE'LL BE BACK AND THE STAFF ARE VERY WELCOMING & FRIENDLY AND LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK ON YOUR MEAL...

Went again Last night with my husband and again I CAN NOT FAULT ANY PART OF OUR MEAL, it was cooked to PERFECTION & TASTE WAS MOUTHWATERING THIS TIME I HAD A MUSHROOM GRAVY BUT I HAD MOST OF IT WITH MY CHIPS, THANKS AGAIN GUYS OF SUPER CASUAL BAR & EATERY ROTORUA...

More than just Great food, great service and great value for money👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 this hidden little gem of an eatery is a husband & wife duo who puts care & passion into their dishes & their venue & they want u to have a dining experience starting with well cooked tasty home made meals with that little bit extra that makes your tastebuds just go yummmm.

Their freshly made coffee with an exquisite coffee bean are second to none, & their array of cocktails are a great start to what will be an awesome dining experience. If Shisha is your thing, they have that on tap too. They have cool casual quirks all around the venue & the outdoor area is lush with passion fruit vines & vibes.

I had the sirloin steak meal with salad, eggs & creamy mushrooms (which I could just eat with a spoon by themselves 😊) which is always on point 👍🏾 the meals comes with fries but they allowed me to opt out of fries due to dietary restrictions...

Delicious food !! Such a relaxed atmosphere very family friendly extremely attentive and friendly staff . It was lovely how they check on you throughout the service we ordered the kids pizza , pop corn chicken , cheeseburger and all of them came out very fast they even accommodated our kids sauce pref for the pizza and left it out , sooo many places don’t usually allow it but they did 🥰 food portions were great and pricing was the best for what we received everything was served fresh hot and well seasoned my partner LOVED the pork ribs they were falling off the bones the sauce was nice it wasn’t your typical slap some bbq sauce on after it’s cooked they were clearly marinated which made a huge difference. Pasta was yummy and I loved how much mushrooms they added in .

Would highly recommend. We look forward to returning this place definitely lived...
