Tucked away from the bussle of Cuba St, the Oatery is by far one of my favourite places to go for a satisfying, healthy breakfast to support my day. The first time I came, I had the seasonal porridge, which was spectacular and really substantial - others I came with had the chia seed pudding, which looked amazing, the green smoothie, and the mushrooms on toast. Whoever I take seems to be impressed with the service and quality of food, and each is very picture-worthy. I went back recently to try the cacao porridge, which was also very tasty, and authentic. I would recommend this one to a chocolate lover and perhaps closer to midday, as the cacao nibs and peanut butter is more something I would have later in the day due to richness, but was tasty nevertheless. For me, the seasonal porridge was my favourite (had in the summer), but I overhead some others raving about the sweet and salty flavour with...

The Oatery is hands down the best cafe in all of Wellington. The food is absolutely immaculate, healthy, consistent and affordable. The staff are incredibly calm and friendly, and the relaxing atmosphere makes for a pleasant eating experience.

If you are in Wellington, you MUST visit The Oatery. Their porridge and granola bowls are addictive. I am yet to try other menu items such as their coffee, toast, soups and salads, however I am certain that they are scrumptious.

Eating at The Oatery always makes me day. So proud of what you have achieved Anna and co! Added a few pics of your Harbourside Market days for...

Oh my gosh, so good! Was craving some homely porridge in this cold weather, and The Oatery did not disappoint. Staff were so lovely and hospitable. The music was relaxing, but could only really be heard from inside. If you’re lucky to snag a seat inside this would be perfection! Outside is nice too, but is obviously a cooler temp - luckily The Oatery offer seat cushions and blankets for those chilly days. Good location outside for a bit of people watching, if that’s your jam. I...
