WORST service and food EVER!!! You'll get better service and experience from a McDonald's self service machine. There were only a handful of occupied tables when we arrived but no one acknowledged or greeted us. After getting a table for 2, we waited 10mins before anyone took our orders. Such slow service that our drinks arrived 30mins later, after the starters were served. The ice already melted and watered down the cocktails. The oyster tasted spoilt and had no liquor left, almost like it had maybe sat on warming plates too long. We didn't touch the other. No one checked on us and we eventually flagged a server down after 1.5 hours when our mains still hadn't been served. They never asked for feedback when we barely touched our drinks and starters either. We paid our bill in full and left WITHOUT DINNER - zero apologies, zero discount/compensation. ZERO star rating if that was a possibility! Literally a real life Faulty Towers experience sans the laughs.

My wife and I had the privilege of having our 40th wedding anniversary here. What a fantastic experience !!!. We had the Chateaubriand for 2 followed by the Crepe Suzettes. Food was amazing we have had this dish about 4 times in our 40 years of marriage and this was by far the VERY best we have ever had. The high quality beef eye fillet was cooked perfectly. Very generous helping. They used a good sized whole eye fillet, that could have fed a family of 4. Tony did a great job and was a lovely host to chat to while he was cooking our meal. He cooked the fillet and the Crepe's to perfection. It will always be a very memorable occasion for both of us. The price was also very very good. Have paid a lot more for inferior quality and quantity in Wellington. Great job Tony and the rest of the very friendly staff at the Orangery.

Welcome Back It’s always a pleasure to enjoy a great meal at The Orangery at Plymouth International. This time, I had the pleasure of reuniting with the scotch fillet. I usually steer clear of ordering steak when dining out — I tend to think I can make them better at home. But in my 25 years of living in this country, I’ve never had a steak quite like this one. Every time I visit this restaurant, this meal never fails to impress. The food is consistently outstanding, the staff are exceptional, and the whole place has a great vibe. Well done to the entire team!

Honestly disappointed, tried this restaurant a few years back and couldn’t fault the food. Tried it again now and wouldn’t even recommend it. Service was average at best we arrived slightly early and chose to go to the bar for a drink which by the time we got said drink it was time to go for dinner. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered duck, steak was below average admittedly it was cooked well inside but the rest was like it came from the crematorium, would of been better char grilling my own steak at home. My partners duck was presented well with two decent sized wings but sadly was some of the poorest duck we’ve both ever ordered. Would have been happier with a McDonald’s cheese burger. Could have cooked a better meal myself at home. When I paid for dinner and was asked how we found it I replied “honestly I was very disappointed” to which the reply was oh I’m sorry to hear that here’s your bill. And to top it all off I reserved our table about midday and we arrived to a damn near empty restaurant and were seated in the peasants table by the door with a coat rack on my ass and staff that can’t close doors so the cold breeze comes right to the stupidly positioned table by...

My friend took me out for an early birthday dinner here on a recent Saturday night. The quality of the food was pretty good, but the female waiters need much better training, especially in their communication skills! I was initially told what I'd ordered wasn't available but another employee had to correct her that it was, which isn't a good look at all. I was also unimpressed with the tatty, dirty menus that had very limited options across every course! Improvements are definitely required at The Orangery, including a definite refresh of the decor - it's outdated, uninviting & just plain dull. The real highlight however, was my yummy dessert of Flambe Crepes Suzette being cooked in front of me by a lovely young man who was incredibly professional, friendly & expertly carried out the presentation! So it wasn't all a disappointment, thank goodness. I tried the Peking Duck main, which was my first time eating duck. I highly...
