Forget Me Not Cafe — Restaurant in South Island

I went to this cafe & my cup and saucer were brown from unwashed dishes. I got new ones, my cup was covered in crumbs to the touch. I am a coeliac, crumbs not good. I went outside to take a call. I came back to be berated rudely by older woman for leaving my belongings unattended, then her daughter told me off. So rude. Will never be back. No manners. I was happy to take a risk with my stuff in a low risk situation. They had no right to tell me off and seem not too bright on customer service. No gluten free food....

Forget Me Not (Wal and Georgia) done an absolute top notch job at supplying and presenting the food for our BA5 meeting. With their grazing table there was a great selection of foods to cover all areas and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. We recommend them for any catering needs and at a bonus they were very reasonable in their pricing (Kept it within our allocated budget) and had great service and communication. Hideous coffee, cona coffee went out with the ark, food VERYaverage. This place caters to the less affluent South Dunedites. The day I went their so-called 'famous cheese scones' were doughy and not nice. I do not have alot of money myself, so a good coffee out is a treat for me...never again...I will leave it to those with little taste in food or coffee. The many regulars keep it going, but it would not survive in...
