Pickles were clearly expired and tasted like wet dog. I eat McDonald’s multiple times a week and I’ve never tasted anything like it, made me gag immediately it was so foul.

I called to politely to let them know it might be worth checking the expiry on the pickles, and all the lady who answered the phone said was “mmmkay”. Did not care at all and I doubt she even bothered to check. Serious health and safety concern there.

I called at 4:42pm on Sunday August 11th if manager would like to check recording.

I’ve worked in fast food before and I know people will complain about absolutely everything and anything, but food safety is something which needs to be taken seriously. I’ve never had a bad interaction with McDonald’s employees before but the carelessness this employee showed was incredibly disappointing, not only that but it showed a complete lack of care for the health and safety of customers.

I was hoping the person on the phone could just have a quick look and sort it out but because this clearly hasn’t happened I will be attempting to take this complaint further.
