-A VERY SHARP PIECE OF PLASTIC IN CURRY-

This happened roughly 3 months ago on the 17, June, 2018. On that night I went to this restaurant for takeaways for the first time. When I got home and was having my meal, I felt a very sharp object in my mouth so I spitted it out and turned out it was a piece of very sharp plastic.I was literally shocked as I am a food addict, I had lots of takeaways at different places in different countries but this has never ever happened to me before at all. So I went to the emergency department at the hospital to have a check up. The hospital doctor told me that if I happened to swallow that piece of plastic I might end up having gastric bleeding or some other serious complications so I was very lucky.

The only reason that I posted it this late was because the Palmerston north council people said they would handle the case and let me know so I trusted them. But at the end, after months they just simply told me that they had done some investigation and believed it won’t happen again, therefore no further action or any penalty will be taken.

From my person point of view, I just do not think the council has taken this heavy enough as this is something VERY SERIOUS that can potentially put someone’s life into danger. Although I was lucky enough did not swallow it, imagine what if the person who ate that curry was only a child who would most likely to swallow the curry. I am only writing this just so the public would know the food safety quality of this restaurant and also how the council handled things. But at the end of the day, it is totally your call and judgement if you still want to take risk...

The fragrance, surroundings, and service is all delightful from the moment you open the door to the moment you have to leave. The taste is simply out of this world, a must try restaurant for sure. We were greeted, seated and served quickly and by various helpful waiters. They gave great advice on spice levels and recommended sides to us. The drinks came out with speed and the wait on food was pretty quick too considering they had to serve starters and then judge when to serve mains. Spot on. I ordered the Masala Dosa as my starter as the menu stated it was one of the Top 10 dishes to try before you die. I mean... how could you not after that challenge! Zero regrets. The pancake wrapped around a delicious mix of spiced vegetables and was served with a variety of sauces. Somehow light and filling at the same time. My main was the Classic Butter Chicken but this was no ordinary meal. With no cream they thicken the sauce with veges and spice and it was maybe the best Butter Chicken I've ever had. Big call but that's how delicious it was. They continued to serve expertly the while time. Dishes wisked away moments after clearing them to the side. They even came by and asked us "Is everything alright with your spices?" And I love that. They asked about dessert and I would have loved to try but I just couldn't fit any more in. Maybe next time because I will absolutely be going back. Thanks crew!...
