I recently dined at Namaste Bharat with my family, and it was an exceptional experience worthy of a five-star rating. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.

The menu offered a fantastic variety of authentic Indian dishes, and we decided to try several appetizers and main courses. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The butter chicken was a standout, rich and creamy, while the vegetarian options, like the palak paneer were equally delightful.

I've only visited once since the new owners so I can only review based on this experience, which also happened to be the day the new owner who also happens to be the main chef was out of town. Unsure if this would be the reason why, but the food was not very good at all. We ordered a myriad of entrees, curries and breads. Some breads seemed fine but the curries and entrees were not up-to-par for the average standard of Indian restaurants in Palmy. The serving sizes of the curries was not worth the price, while the serving size of everything else seemed standard. Other than the food, the mango lassi was fine and our waiter was friendly. They've kept all the decor the same so the vibe is still decent and clean. There are a few minor issues other than the food but the food would be the main one so if the food was normally tasty with the main chef there then I could look past those...

A great restaurant that you must visit. Great service which was above and beyond. Would be right up there with fine dining restaurants in terms of the service. The 2 guys serving were helpful in suggesting starters/entrees, offering extras eg. dips/sauces when needed and extremely professional and polite. The starters were next level, I would love to try them all. Curries were on par and no faults could be found in them. Garlic naan was again next level and probably the best in town we have had in years. Restaurant is clean, tidy, modern and well thought out in terms of decor. It sets a great atmosphere right from the start. Even the menus are above par. Will definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to family/friends without a doubt.
