Cafe Eminem — Restaurant in Palmerston North

I went there remembering how euthanasic the staff are and how yum the food is, because it's been a long while, boy was I wrong. All I wanted was a mixed kebab with chips. The guy greeting me with the most highest disappointment ever seen as customer services goes (like he hates his job and wants to die) the place smelt like everything was spoilt and rotten, every door was opened. The meat was dry and burnt, soaked in sauces to masked the flavor and driness and the sauces tasted disgusting. Chips had far too much salt. The water I didn't ask for but was grateful to receive, was the best there. I walked passed so many others restaurants before my arrival just to come to the concussion that I should have just stayed home. I left the table went to the toilet washed my hands, rinsed my mouth and walked out the backdoor....

First Uber Eats order from Cafe Eminem tonight.We really enjoyed all our food! Garlic cheese bread was great but a little expensive. Shrimp gnocchi was an absolute treat but addition of a few chopped anchovies to the sauce would elevate this dish. Chicken Iskender was ok but rice to mea ratio was a bit high despite ordering a large size - small amount of chicken. Felafel could be very much better - these are a bit dry and somewhat tasteless. Overall, however, lovely food and we would certainly order from here again. Quite keen to try their pizza! I just wanted to respond to my Uber east review from yesterday, so I received my meals and when I opened my box there were several hairs that were tangled together on the top of my food, I reviewed and gave a 1 star for this, then I received a response from you to say that it’s unfair I gave this review when you had nothing to do with it. So I’d like to ask who is at fault here in your opinion? Because the hair certainly wasn’t mine. I also tried to call the store to make the complaint and inform you but the person that answered the phone couldn’t understand what I was trying to say so I hung up. Apart from this one incident I’ve had no problems...
