The Celtic Inn — Restaurant in Palmerston North

Loved the music but the food was terrible, my fish had no seasoning and was the smallest piece of fish I had ever seen, I was given quarter of a punnet of chips and salad. I am a very small eater yet I was still hungry as was my husband after eating his and at $23 I thought it was expensive for what I received. My husbands dinner tasted alright he had the sausage and mash but it was in a pudding plate so once again very small. So I recommend the Celtic as a great place for music and a drink but don't go for the meal unless it is...

Very disappointed that we didn't get what we had ordered. From the outset it looked like a fantastic place to come for dinner before going to a show right next door. On the website it says to pre-order your meal to ensure it gets to you on time. Phoned through the order and then what was supplied was completely different. The online menu bares no resemblance of the menu on the bar!! Was told we could ring Gary but no one gave us a number!!!! Just be aware of placing orders if the menu...

Had a lovely pub lunch here, the $10 lunch deals are great and service was lovely. Only one gripe: the wheelchair accessible toilets are hardly wheelchair accessible- they're storing all their leftover tables and chairs in there. Very impractical for people who actually need to use their facilities. I had my mum in a wheelchair with me and it was almost impossible to get her to the loo. Hopefully this message reaches the right person so...
