Eden Takeaways — Restaurant in South Island

Today, family and I were looking forward to a takeaway meal. Ordered two chicken burgers, two fish, scoop of chips, one hot dog, and two fried donuts. The chicken burgers we're a stringy texture, did not taste like chicken, dark overcooked crispy coating, the fish was not pleasant tasting square pre packaged, what happened to fresh fillets battered, the donuts were a bread mixture not the batter type. Hotdog was not great. This is my first low score review, however from my personal experience and that of my family is valid. We will not purchase...

only my 2nd time getting f & c from here, I'm not a fan of them cooked in oil but these 1s are the 1st n only 1s I like. these guys helped me heaps when good ol door dash didn't have a driver (dasher) so I had to ring they let me come pick it up & were very good about it all. I did not like the fish though, it had a real fishy smell & didn't taste right but hotdogs, chips donuts all good. Each to their own though, what might be really nice to 1 may be absolutely...

Since moving to oamaru we have tried most fish and chip shops. And all disappointed. Until we tried Eden street. Wow. Best in town by far. Burgers have super fresh fillings. Servings are generous. Especially chip portion. Everything cooked perfect. Not overcooked like many places we've tried. We have finally found our fish and chip shop. Well done...
