Disappointing Experience - Poor Service and No Regard for Customers

We booked a First Table reservation at this restaurant a few days in advance, but when we arrived, they claimed to have no record of it in their system. This was puzzling because we’ve used First Table at other restaurants without issue.

Despite providing our reservation details, the staff informed us they couldn’t honor it because we were late. While we understand there are policies, the way the situation was handled was disappointing. There was no sympathy or any effort to address the fact that we had already paid for the voucher. They simply didn’t care, leaving us unable to use what we had rightfully reserved and paid for.

Their attitude speaks volumes, especially given the fact that the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, with only one table of guests. Unfortunately, it’s...

We had takeaway during chill holidays while visiting. Very quite due to lockdown.

We had to yum and tom kha soups . Nice taste but not that tangy and typical sourness. Also had green chicken curry, fried prawns and pad Thai. Overall bill 150$. We were a Group of 6adults n 2 kids. Food recommended..

Visited again on 2jan for an in dinning experience. and the place was basically empty thanks to covid. Attentive staffs d quite helpful compared to some previous reviews but It depends on which staff is present on what day.

We had tamarind prawns. Basil prawns, chicken and prawn padThai, tom yum soup x2, chicken satay x4. Chicken fried rice, beef massauman curry, large rice, two extra bread, Food was quite tasty and. Delicious and I’d would certainly recommend it. Overall bill...

Over priced for oily curries with not much meat ... Had a cocktail and way too much ice ... not enough liquid, the whole glass was filled with ice .

We spent over $100 on takeaway meals for 3 people.

When we received our takeaway meals the rice in the curry were in separate very small containers and filled to the brim. As we were going to take our food into the park, I asked for a separate takeaway container so I could mix the rice and curry to eat it with more ease. The lady at reception tried to charge me $1 for the extra container! What a joke! When you spend well over $100 is an extra container going to really matter? WOW

Sad that this restaurant which occupies a prime location rips off...

Incredible Thai food in Queenstown – beautifully presented, rich in flavor, and clearly made with care. The lamb shank curry was fall-off-the-bone tender, deeply flavorful, and paired perfectly with chickpeas, broccoli and kale. The soft shell crab curry was crisp on the outside, juicy inside, with a rich egg curry sauce that was full of warmth and depth. The sweet & sour monkfish was a highlight—crispy, juicy, and perfectly balanced with lychee and colorful vegetables. We also loved the Tom Yum soup, which was fragrant, comforting, and generously filled with mushrooms. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and packed with flavor.
