Word of advice: don't bother coming here on the weekend. The mistake in saying that I don't think the weekend staff have been trained well is that that would imply they've been trained AT ALL. Which I'm not sure they have been. Today I was the recipient of about the most bewildering order mistake I think is possible, largely because I know that half the mistake happened after the guy at the till took my order.
So I have some time to spare at Constellation waiting for a bus, so I decide to quickly grab lunch. I order, and I quote, "a chicken fry King Box and a hamburger with no pickles." The King Box was fine, it's the hamburger that went wrong. Now, in fairness, I was wearing a thick mask, so perhaps the fellow at the till didn't hear "pickles" correctly. But I know he heard "hamburger" correctly because "Hamburger - Plain" is what came up on the ordering machine. He however seemed a bit confused by my order, and double-checked the hamburger one. But he was satisfied when I repeated "hamburger with no pickles," so I thought all was well. I get given my order (without receipt, he took it to read it I guess and didn't give it to me), and go back over to the station to eat and wait for my bus. The King Box is fine. Then, as my bus soon approaches, I open the hamburger.
What I got, instead of a hamburger with no pickles, was a cheeseburger with no pattie. Basically just a cheese sandwich with a couple pickles in it. Almost exactly the opposite of what I ordered. Alas, my bus arrived and I didn't have time to go back and inform them of the mistake, so I cut my losses and binned it along with the empty King Box before I got aboard my bus, since I ordered a hamburger without pickles specifically because I like neither cheese nor pickles and that's all that was on that. How that mistake happens is beyond me - the pickles-pattie mishearing, I can understand. We were both wearing thick masks, so I didn't hear his confused question properly, and he probably didn't hear me properly. But I know for a fact that the guy who both took my order and as far as I saw made my order heard "hamburger," because that's what came up on the machine. I can only conclude that the weekend staff here are so poorly trained that they've not been informed of the difference between a hamburger and a cheeseburger? Which is a bit concerning given that those are the most basic burgers sold here and they're being trusted with food safety. There's a little placard on the desk that says something about just telling the staff about food allergies but honestly if I had a proper food allergy I wouldn't trust this place to accommodate it safely with no contamination in a million years, and certainly not on a weekend.
Also none of this would have happened if their self-ordering machines were working, which are always my first choice, but they seem to have been out of order...

So I ordered two meals online for my kids and selected the 6:55pm pick-up offered. The system then confirms the meals will be ready at 7pm?!? (huh). I then made a second order for myself using my rewards points for the first time ever, but when the order was confirmed, no pick-up time showed. I distinctly recall selected the same pick-up time but clearly something hadn't registered. I tried calling the restaurant but the number available went to an after-hours voice message somewhere.
When we arrived at BK just before 7pm, neither order was showing as either in progress or ready for pick-up. At 7pm the kids meals showed up on their screen as being prepared (WTF? - not ready when promised?) I gave the guy at the counter both order numbers and tried to explain what had happened when ordering it but he just ignored me. I got handed my meal but it had clearly been sitting there from when I ordered it 30 minutes earlier. I opened the bag and it didn't look freshly made either. The kids meals eventually arrived about 5 minutes late and we left without my meal as it was not fit to eat. Utterly dissapointed with the experience and lack of any concern from BK staff. I doubt they even noticed I had left the meal on their counter.
Update 9 Dec 2024: I placed a customer concern (Complaint) via their website on the same day and they still haven't contacted me. What a joke this place is.
Update 23 December 2024: Still no contact from Burger King - useless.

I working as a menulog delivery driver and got order to pick up from BK constellation (Auckland, New Zealand) Was standing there and was waiting if someone will serve me but it was really sad that no one bothered to ask if I need help or if I am there to order something. A girl was just standing in front of me at counter doing something on computer/ pos system. I wasnât wanting to disturb their work but was waiting if she will ask if I need help , but looks like they donât care at all about delivery drivers or customers , I had to ask company to cancel my order as I couldnât wait there more when no one even care about you standing there , If they canât be bothered asking standing customers if they need help then they shouldnât be at counter or they are in wrong profession , felt very disappointed and disrespectful.
