Kami Sushi — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

We used to buy from this shop a lot... Overall, we've been happy with the quality and range but customer service nas never been the strongest side of this business. There are always long queues, staff turnover is high therefore they're very slow. They tend to overcharge customers (happened a few times to me- like 50 c, or 1 dollar not a big deal but it adds up) so I have to recalculate the total every time. Next, they seem to be quite stingy and always put just a little bit of ginger, soy sauce and wasabi. Every time I go there I need to ask them for a little bit extra and still it's not enough. Now mostly getting my sushi from the shop on the opposite side...

This restaurant is God's gift to mankind. I don't care about pricing. I could sit in there all day and gorge myself on the delicious sushi, Don and Udon whilst the staff look on in unimaginable horror whilst my grotesque, bulbous form forcibly engages it's own gag reflex, just to make space for more of their beautiful food. I could never eat Japanese food again, and I would die a happy man, knowing that I had blessed my digestive system with the amazing food that Kami Sushi prepares and serves on a daily basis.

What a place, actually make other sushi shops look basic.

Top-tier sushi. I decided to go for lunch to show how much they sell, as they constantly bring out sushi to keep up with demand.

Between 11.30 am and 1 pm is very busy, photos were taken around 12.30 pm. Favorite is the scallop and grill salmon sushi, brilliant combo.

If you're going for the elevated salmon sushi to pay around 25-30 dollars for around 8-9 pieces. This is justified if it's within your price range. Overall. This place will...
