Hermon Bagels — Restaurant in Waitākere Ranges

I heard the name and walked in one morning expecting an array of breakfast bagels but it was a place that sells just bagels in bags. They did have a decent variety and guess their main customers would be cafes and supermarkets. $4 a bag for 8 small bagels or 4 normal sized bagels. Got the cheese coated one. It tasted alright. Disappointed with the fact I had to buy a bag and go home to make a breakfast...

These are my favourite bagels and I go out of my way to buy them. They are bigger and softer than the ones at the supermarket and they have great deals when buying more than one bag. I get three packs of 4 for $11 and o haven’t seen packets at the supermarket for less that $4, even on special. Just be aware of the open times because I do have to plan my week around making sure I get there...

These bagels were fantastic! Limited flavours and pricier than the grocery stores but worth it to support a local business. My Mum purchased a bag of bagels back in January on one of her morning walks and couldn’t recommend it enough. She had the loveliest conversation about Canada with the shop owner. Definitely recommend checking it...
