Read moreTonight was an absolute disappointment, and I can't shake the feeling of having wasted my money. I honestly can't find a single positive thing to say about the food. First, the wine was corked, sour, and unpleasant.
The squid was tough and chewy, served with wilted salad and loads of balsamic vinegar—no care or effort put into the dish whatsoever. No respect for a delicate seafood which should not be dawned in vinegar. And don't even get me started on the carbonara. I have now eaten here several times and every visit has been a pleasure. Bona is a cute little Italian place with a nice selection of pizza, pasta and other dishes on the menu. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient.
The restaurant itself has its own special ambience, warm and comfortable, but not cramped. There is seating available outside as well. Prices and portion sizes are both very reasonable.
