KFC — Restaurant in Waitematā

VERY Poor customer service. I ordered "Eat in" and Coke Zero. When I went to get the food, the lady with her hair protector greeted me with a take away bag. I asked for plates and she gave me 4x then I went to sit down. I realised I had the wrong drink as I remember my order was Coke zero as she gave me a Coke. Then I went to sit down and eat and realised the Colonel's lunch I got only had a chicken wing and chicken drumstick and the other one for my sister was a chicken wing and chicken thigh. I went up to the front counter again and said that I have two small pieces and she said we could only have two small pieces. Then I had to tell her nope this is a chicken drumstick Then she put the chicken drumstick in the rubbish and added a chicken thigh. I was surprised at how she also wasted the chicken. Then I realised we had no souviettes as we were eating and trying to stay calm because not only did this person (lady with a headcap) make me get up from my seat more than twice and had to get my sister to go to her I had to write this review. I don't want anyone else to experience what we experienced as this is unacceptable behaviour. This was after a long day working at around 6.15pm. What made it even worse was there were only three other groups of customers inside. I wanted to give ZERO stars but you cannot in this review. Do better...

This is worst experience at KFC ponsonbay ever. I wish I never be there!

Your official website details that it closes at 10 o'clock. At 9:40pm, I walked to the front door and found it closed.

But one of your Indian male employees told me that I can drive through make order. So I drove to the back to order, but the white girl on the intercom told me they were closed! The time was 9:45.

But a local guy’s van in front of me was able to order and pick up food after argument. This white lady, making fun of my accent, said on the intercom I don't know what you're talking about, come to the ordering window and tell me.

After she finished serving the van in front of me, she turned around and told me they were closed. I said I went to the front door and your male employee told me to come to the back and order!At that time, he did not tell me store is close! And the time was only 9:55.

Then the white lady closed the sliding window and disappeared. Later, the girl who thought she was mopping the floor came over and continued to say that they were closed! I asked her what time should you close? She said they usually close at 9:55, and now it's 9:57, so they're closed. And let me go away!

By the way, your guys should change close time at Depend racist...

I don't like to leave reviews of fast food restaurants, but I feel i have to for KFC Ponsonby. Every single time I come here (once a month if that) I have an issue. Something is not available, something in my order is missing or something has gone wrong. After lockdown KFC started a delivery service. We order two meals, but only one arrived - literally they forgot half our order. They make a big deal when you try to request pieces of chicken. I just want a potato & gravy and two thighs, they will say they can put your piece request though but can't guarantee that I will get it. I don't get it, this is what I want to order but you can't guarantee that I will receive what I have ordered? Doesn't make sense. Honestly I have decided that if I am in the mood for KFC I will drive to Sandringham or even to the city because Ponsonby KFC...
