TANK Three Lamps - Smoothies, Raw Juices, Salads & Wraps — Restaurant in Waitematā

EDIT: had to bring this place up a few stars for the smoothies. I’m not a fan of the food menu (see below) but for a plant based thick-shake that’s relatively healthy I’m here for it. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Decent service, but underwhelming and overpriced food. Using a touch screen is gross so I had to wait a while until I got the servers attention as they were in the back. They were very kind once engaged. The food is fresh at least. You have to order from the menu, not make your own and they have awful choices… foolish things like mapled nuts, goji berries and croutons all come in wraps and you can’t exchange anything without paying for extra ingredients. I had the ‘paleo active greens wrap’ which was $16.50 for a plain wrap, salad and an egg. They put nuts in which was not pleasant. Fresh crumbled walnuts or sliced roasted almonds would be great but there were like trail mix, sugared and...

Been here twice. Scared to go again. Last time I went the gym protien banana smoothy taste like the bananas were super super green and unripe. The workers should know the bananas they are using are not ripe enough. Tasted chalky and no sweetness.

The first time, I had the same smoothie there and it slapped. Was delicious AF! But now I am too scared to go back and get the experience I had last time 😭😭😭

I didn't drink it until I was already driving away.. so didn't make any comment in store. So here I am.

Atmosphere is weird too. Can do your whole order without any acknowledgement from the staff working in the back. Due to the touch screen. The only interaction is to let you know your drink is ready. Good for introverts I guess 🤪 but mainly weird...

I was overcharged last week when purchasing a salad and called twice to discuss and arrange a refund but no one called me back?!

I went back into the store today and discussed the issue. The refund was made promptly so that was great. Thank you!

However... very disappointing to see that this store is still using plastic forks, a fork was put on my salad (even after advising i do not want one), the lady removed from the top of my box (had not been used in any way) and placed directly into the rubbish - madness.... what an absolute waste ! sorry won't be coming back until more sustainable, environmental products and practises...
