Muffin Break. — Restaurant in Whau

I went there with my mom and my 2 year old boy. I try to feed my boy and my boy did not like the taste of cake so he straight away throw out on the floor and my mom straight away clean the floor with the tissue paper. The white guy who was in the dining area start making face and he told my mom twice that "it is not rubbish" infront off other customers in a very rude way while my mom try to find out the rubbish bin to throw that tissue paper.

I feel not welcoming at this place. Even the chees cake I order was very dry and it was not feel fresh.

Also, on my next table two Chinese girls try to sit and the guy straight away went to them and he ask them to leave just because they were carry a drink from other place. The guy did not even give them a chance to sit and order.

Disappointing went to get a muffin on the way to work it was just after 9am - parking at the mall is never fun. The GF muffin I wanted was in the cabinet - the manager was obviously running late to set up. I was told quite rudely not open for 20mins - (says open 9am on website) - I asked if I could just pay cash and he could just grab it for me and ring it up later. Nope it was too much of an effort!! Wouldn’t mind if he was a bit friendlier - we buy from there for work quite regularly. I go there because GF and not easy to find a nice GF muffin. I understand we all under staffed at the moment but have some manners and customer...

I have my lunch here most days, in the morning I get a coffee and an apple and cinnamon muffin for my breakfast, wow amazing, all the good is made on site and what a choice you get, its fresh, tasty and lovely Now for the staff that work here, they are awesome, very polite, extremely helpful, and you can have a conversation with them. It's nice to get great service to go along with the great food. Other muffin breaks need to come here and learn what it is that they are doing. I give a 10 out of 10 for these guys and well reccomend a stop here if your in Newlynn. Well done guys keep up the fabulous...
