Sauced — Restaurant in San Juan del Sur (Municipio)

Sauced is actually inside a Place called gastro garden. We went on a Saturday evening and it was nice. The owner greeted us and explained it was different restaurants in the same area so we would get different bills. You could order yourself at each one or wait for a server, similar to a food court. We waited for the server who was nice, ordered drinks from the bar, my husband got a pizza from sauced, I ordered a dish from the vegetarian place. Everything was yummy. Went back the next night because of the variety of food options. However only a few of the food places were open. We sat at the bar which seemed to annoy the bartender who was busy on his phone. We ordered food from the Thai place that was mediocre at best. I ordered a vegetarian dish and got chicken do they remade it for me. The owner wasn't there and you could tell the staff was super disengaged from everything. We ate and left. Gave it a 3rd chance on a Tuesday when everywhere else was full, same experience. Most of the food spots were closed. We got 3 drinks total, ordered a combo plate from the chicken place so at least I could eat some fries. The veggies were 2 carrot sticks and 2 brown pieces of celery. I munched some fries and my husband tried to eat some wings, it was all bad. Our waiter came up said our bill was somehow 1000 Cordoba, no actual paper check. We paid and left. The first night I thought this was a brilliant idea, but I wouldn't recommend...

Disgusting owner and lack luster pizza. No taste to the sauce.

The womanising sleazy owner RUINS this place. Seconds into him approaching me at his bar I knew it was time to leave, but he made it awkward and dragged it out - I still left though in speedy time. He, the obnoxious Canadian owns Rustys too, and maybe Nachos which is opposite? His name is Chris perhaps? Constantly hitting on me, I heard he does this to other women too. I also heard he has a wife, so go figure. Overall an awful experience due to an overly arrogant and boastful slimeball. He constantly told me he owns the place. Like, who cares? It's a simple eatery and bar. Granted, it is good vibes until he comes along but nothing to write home about! There are better places to go. Save him and yourself the embarrassment. UPDATE March 18, 2022: This place is no longer in the back of LIT night club and has moved to the main street in the middle of town into a Gastro Garden. The garden is similar to how it once was but the seating is very uncomfortable and it's a family area now with no night club. I felt like the pizza has changed as it was a bit greasy and the crust was pretty tough and bland. I included pictures of the new space and pizza.
