Their food is not worth the price at all, but 3 stars are only for the ambience and the service.
This place does in fact look even better in real life; my colleagues were happily surprised as soon as they stepped in the main entrance. Huge-sized animals are so awesome that kids will love them although the restaurant set-up, ambience and price too are more for romantic dining ironically.
Their food, however, was very disappointing first of all. The pasta was better among them but too salty; Steak is hard to fail but theirs was not tasty at all, which our Steak-lover colleague said was due to the meat sitting in their fridge for too long, and it did not come cooked "medium" as we requested but rather total "rare"; their taco and salad were just ok nothing special. Secondly, we ordered a bottle of wine but the glasses smelled like dirty kitchen cloth, which was extremely unpleasant.
Having said that, they offered complimentary cocktails for the wine glasses, and another portion of pasta for take-away. Servers were very professional and attentive, which made every mistake they made more acceptable.
I think i might go back just for the ambience and the cocktails.

Read moreAmazonia, yet another themed restaurant… this time you get to experience dining in a rainforest wonderland complete with wild beast sculptures and a costumed gorilla prancing around the restaurant (I don't want to be that guy). Cheesy as hėll but there's more to it...
Amazonia is instagramable. They've done a decent job with the theming with many unique elements that must have been challenging to create. Kudos to the team.
The food is surprisingly good for a restaurant focused on the visually dramatic… there’s also sufficient creativity on display save for the Pho (disappointing take on this one - some things are best kept authentic). Price-wise, some items were irritatingly overpriced (Bone Marrow 👀). Overall, a thumbs up with a return on the cards.
PS: Management here clearly cares...
Read moreSeen a lot of pictures on SM of the destination restaurant and was intrigued to try it out. I was looking forward to the seafood boil as it would have been a first time experience. We visited on a Friday evening, location was easy to reach and parking available right in front of the restaurant. Entrance was as seen in pictures. Service was great as we were escorted in and had someone waiting on us all through. Unfortunately they no longer have seafood boil on the menu so we settled for the platter instead. It was very filling and we had to pack the rest home. The steak was not hot enough though but...
