Ever been to a restaurant with club vibes 😉, well I’ll say Kenivior is that restaurant that can completely change to a parte after parte spot at night especially during this Christmas season 😉. I like the space, it’s quite florid and artsy plus there’s a private area which permits smoking 🚬 for those of us (clears throat- those of you) that dig it. The ambience was relaxing and I do love the soft music during the day. For drinks we had: - Tequila sunrise - Whiskey sour - Blue Lagoon - Tequila sunrise variation- let’s say I did an experiment with the bartenders 😌 First of all- help me thank God for delivering me from the hands of Daiquiri 🤭. The Tequila sunrise and blue lagoon tasted as they should, quite smooth and got me in my feelings! The whiskey sour on the other hand was just okay, not my fav. We tried out the; - Jollof rice and snails - Mashed potatoes and Prawn Suya - Penne arrabbiata On the food it’s a tuale!✊🏾 Let’s start with the Prawn Suya- This was the bomb, on a regular day I wouldn’t think Yagi pepper and grilled prawns would make a good combo but damn! It tasted so good, pairing it with the mashed potatoes was just bliss. The next meal that made a girl smile is the penne arrabbiata- 💯 (pasta texture ✅, tomato base ✅, flavouring ✅) The snails tasted alright and paired well with the Jollof but for some reason I’ll give both a 7/10. It tasted good and my taster loved it but Bella the critic thinks something was missing but can’t place her hands on it 🙈 The service was really good during my visit! I had a nice time disturbing the bartender with questions and they were quite chilled. I’ll definitely recommend you make a stop. A dinner for two should be around N25k - N30k

All Hype, no Action. This was one of those instances where what you see online does not quite cut it in reality. Decided to try out Kenivior, since they popped up online. Parking is quite limited so don’t expect a lot in that area, that isn’t the only down side. On a slow day with less than 10 guests I had to wait over 45 minutes for my order to get delivered. I kid you not, it may have been more but I daresay the service leaves a lot to be desired. My saving grace was the fact that I didn’t ask for starters- I’m sure I’d have been totally annoyed. The food was below average, portions, taste and timeliness. I ordered the Chicken Creole, Penne Arabiata & an American Style Chicken Burger for my kids. They rated the beef has hard and not quite like the best they’d had. The Chicken Creole had a tad too much cream that could definitely make your tommy ache. Again, the service was really bad as I consistently had to reach out to the waitress to follow up on my orders. At some point they had the Arabiata ready and served it with the others still not ready! I guess it was the fasting, but then, a no-no for me. Be prepared to encounter a few ants and flies here and there, not unusual in Lagos, but worrying for a relatively new place. Portion wise, don’t expect any miracles. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.

Kenivior is a relatively new restaurant beside silverbird cinemas on Ahmadu Bello Way (Victoria Island). It's a mid-sized restaurant with a general sitting area and an inner smoking section. The ambience is good, the food and cocktails tasted great. The menu is a bit limited as at now though but will hopefully be expanded over time; the price point is fair - not too high but not cheap either. Overall it was a good experience.

Ambience is just there. The best time to enjoy a romantic time with your partner or whoever is during the day(I’d assume),once it’s night time from 7pm it turns to a lounge setting (loud music, smoke everywhere). I ordered the seafood pasta and spaghetti bolognese and it came 2hours later ..I had to do takeout cos I was already upset..Also very small quantity of food for the price of the seafood pasta(13k),the seafood pasta had just shrimps and calamari (not even prawns to justify my 13k😭😭)…A barely full glass of red wine for 5K and very misery pieces of snail for 6k5 I think.. Also the tequila sunrise cocktail didn’t bang..🙄🥺…I had really high hopes for this place but I got disappointed.. Anyways the 2 star rating I’m giving is for the tasty pasta.. it tasted good tho too small for...
