I recently visited this place with high expectations, hoping for a satisfying Turkish dining experience. However, my visit fell short of expectations. Here's a brief summary of my experience:
Service: The initial impression was disappointing as the server appeared uninterested and unwelcoming. Despite the language barrier, which I understand is not mandatory for everyone to speak English, the server's attitude conveyed a lack of enthusiasm and willingness to assist.
Food: We ordered breakfast tray for two, but the overall quality left much to be desired. While the white soft cheese and tomato eggs were enjoyable, the remaining dishes lacked freshness and seemed of low quality. The figs had an unpleasant taste, indicating possible spoilage, not sure.
Clarification on Tea: One of the reviewers here claimed that the tea is bottomless and that's inaccurate. Only one serving is complimentary with the breakfast tray and any additional tea refills come at an extra cost.
4)Dishes: We tried the potato Gozleme, which had a good taste! However, we were disappointed by how little potato was used considering this dish was 200 dener on it's own.
Recommendations: If you decide to try this place, I suggest trying their tomato eggs and Gozleme, which offered better flavor. Additionally, if available, their white soft cheese may be worth...
Read moreWe recently visited this place. Starting with the service it was like calling people in to eat. Sometimes we don't want to come but they stop you like 2-3 people and look at you like a desperate seller.
Once you sat, we didn't even see the menu to order the person who came to us and stood on our head until we gave him an order for food. At the end of food they directly and desperately demanded tip which was weird.
We ordered multiple things including golmez (potatoes incorporate bread), pide (pizza), kunafa and coke.
The food according to the price and taste was expensive and overrated.
Golmez had a low amount of potatoes without any sauces. (2.5/5) price 200 dinnar
Pide (pizza) was ok but portion size was small according to price. (3/5) price 300 dinnar
Kunafa was amazing. (4/5) price 200 dinnar not sure about this.
Coke was a small can. Price 100 dinnar.
Food not worth the price...
Read moreI recently dined at a delightful Balkan restaurant that truly captured the essence of the region's cuisine. The menu offered an array of authentic dishes, with standout options like Pedes and a heartwarming lentil soup that reminded me of traditional home-cooked meals. Desserts were simple yet satisfying, adding a sweet note to the meal. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the exceptionally friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The prices were also very reasonable, making it a great spot for anyone looking to explore Balkan flavors without breaking the bank. This place isn't about high-end cuisine, but its authenticity and charm...
