This hotel is really great, if not perfect. Excellent location near the main square, Triumph arch and stone bridge. Adjoined to an abandoned-looking but actually quite busy mall. Friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond. ||Throughout, beautiful design and expensive finishes, but with some strange design choices (e.g. unnecessary plastic plants) that someone seems to have done after the fact. Read moreAs the name suggests, the hotel is handily located less than 5 minute walk from Macedonia Square. However, if you are arriving by bus be aware that the main bus station is roughly a 25 minute walk from the hotel.||The staff are very friendly; they gave us suggestions of places to eat and drink and gave us extra bottled water late at night when we ran out. I would pay €15 as we were the only guests using the sauna / whirlpool anyway. We booked use of the sauna upon arrival for the next day. ||We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel.||Overall I think Hotel Macedonia Square is a good base for exploring the city, and I would stay again if I am ever...

The room was very clean, a credit to the cleaning staff.|The bed was luxurious and lovely to lay in after a day sightseeing. There was also a lounge that could be made into a bed as well as a small dining area.
