Flamme Burger Strandgaten — Restaurant in Bergen

Lets start with the good. The food was really good. You won't be dissappointed, but don't order with spice unless you want your food drowned in it. The bread was a bit dry though..

Now the rest... The staff have no clue about anything. The website showed allergy friendly food, but the menu said it wasn't. I asked the staff and they had no idea what was in the food.

Ended up ordering anyway. And the food was great but too much spices on. Like drowned in it. Also the music here is absolutely crazy. In a bad way. If you like instagram/tiktok phonk that is way too loud and intense, this is your place. The staff kept banging on things to drum along and whistling loudly throughout our stay. Really annoying and obnoxious. All in all I wont ever come back here. But Ill miss the...

I prefer these burgers over some in the town square and I think they’re better price so it’s worth the walk away from the center.

Ordered, machine said 20 mins so I started a timer and it took 13. My US issued Mastercard worked flawlessly, I read someone struggled to pay with a foreign card but they didn’t specify. Foods good and fair priced.

Ordered spicy burger and it’s not the spiciest thing in the world but it was enough for me to be happy with. The fries were also good, I usually hate this wavy style but these fries were crispy on the out and soft in the middle. I really have no good explanation for this experience. Don't have anything to complain about regarding the food. 5 out of 5!

Buuuut If you are dairy intolerante or have any allergies. Don't go there. It says the wrong thing on the web site (Burges). The chef aaaand the other worker there didn't have any knowledge about if it was dairyproducts in the food or not. So I hope I'm not getting sick. But that's on me if I do. (Lactose free is not milk/dairy free-just saying).
