Walked into this place because they had an empty table for two...turned out to be a great choice..! Quickly seated, quickly waited on, quickly served drinks.. Ceviche & chips a bit different as the ceviche had fruit in it, mango, raspberries, strawberries blueberries, currants...never had ceviche with fruit. The fish was fresh, big chunks, none was left... The fish soup, very good, lots of shrimp, fish chunks, creamy. Large portion. Ciabatta bread, butter...ummmm..! Fish & Chips outstanding, nice batter, more like a crunchy Katsu type than the heavy, greasy batter found elsewhere. Fish was fresh...very good. Monkfish and potatoes, again...outstanding. My trip to Norway was ruined here.

We were 2 adults and 2 children, and ordered 2 seafood plates and 1 steamed mussel.

3 plates of food came out, and I thought it was for 3 people, but when I tried to pay, they said that the order was for 4 seafood plates and 1 steamed mussel, and asked for 3675 Kr.

If 2 adults and 2 children ordered 5 servings, the staff should have double-checked the order.

A busy, charming restaurant that is glued to the back of the fish market. As expected, seafood is fresh and delicious here. I ordered the fish soup, and while the presentation wasn't anything to write home about, the taste definitely was. I'd say it's the best fish soup I've had in Norway, on par with that at Anno in Ålesund. It's thick, creamy, and with an overly generous amount of delicious seafood inside. Highly...
