It was terrible. The guards outside are super discriminative based on people's look and age. It feels so degrading that such things happen in Norway. Discrimination on the highest level. There were a group of guys standing in front of us who were very obviously drunk, yet they got in with no problem, and the main guard refused to let one girl from our company in as for being too drunk, which she was not at all. When I asked if they could please let me speak to the manager or otherwise explain how can he make such subjective decisions with no logical ground at all, one guard pointed to the other guard and said he's the manager, and completely ignored us after that. I would understand if they had an alcotester and be very specific on how drunk you have to be to not get in, and use it when in doubt. It's actually very pitying what's happening in the security field here in Oslo's nightlife. The guards can do whatever they want and thus ruin the whole evening for a group of people. 12 am night zone, been waiting on line and security ask my id and gave my hms, the card have my birth and picture of me and they security do not approved on this and they want my dnb id or passport. Dnb bank card with people over 28 years old don't have birth or picture of yourself and bringing passport is really high risk to lose it. Some guy was record outside public place and security start to powertrip and ask hes not allowed record entrance or have permission to record him on entrance, when hes as on public place. They let the women straight in with no issue but if you bring with your friend or your married man, they will decide your man let them in or out. And they will be pretty rude on you even if you ask them why or what the issue. If you do bring id and you look young and you are over 24 years they will say the id is fake even if they don't have prove. I'd recommend the manager to change the security staff and the bouncers. They were insanely rude to me and a couple friends and wouldn't let us in for "Being too drunk and giving bad image to the bar" I politely tried to ask our way in... They think they were being professional, but I have never felt more discriminated by anyone like they treated me. They ruined my night.
