Pretty expensive as a café. Pricey ice-cream portion came with no embellishments, tasted like the cheapest kind of ice-cream you can buy in the shop, and two persons' ice-cream portions were served in one bowl. Although COVID restrictions policies are over, I don't think it's a good idea for two people to be made to share an ice-cream bowl, unless they specifically ask to do so. While eating from the same bowl, spoons touch and viruses get transferred.
Doing one bag of laundry costs 80 NOK for the wash, 15 NOK for the detergent and 100 NOK for drying, 195 NOK in total, which I also found pretty expensive. Laundry machines were OK, but detergent made the clothes smell very strongly of perfume afterwards.
My biggest problem with this place was that the staff members tried very hard to make me buy an extra spin cycle for 60 NOK, claiming that otherwise the clothes would be too wet for the dryer. This was not the case, the normal spin cycle was perfectly adequate. Doing an extra spin would have been a complete waste of time, money and energy. So, I recommend that you use your own sense in this place, and don't use any extra money...
Read moreSuch a lovely place! It’s close by my place of study so I will definitely go here more often to study after school! Highly recommend, I first found the cafe on social media // TikTok, and then noticed how close it was and I’m here for the first time right now! I’ll definitely come back and want to be a regular here!
There’s very few people here today (it’s a Wednesday, 16:00) and it’s quite peaceful with music in the background and minor noise, great for studying! The food I ordered (cheeseburger and hot chocolate—highly recommend!) came quickly (about 10 minutes after I ordered) and the food was delivered right after the drink. Usually, a lot of cafes and restaurants that very long to wait and you’ll have to buy multiple drinks, so this was a pleasant surprise!! Super happy and the prices are very affordable, especially for a student,...
Read moreThe food was very good. We ordered pancakes and avocado toast. It came out quickly and there were lots of drink options. Everything seemed reasonably priced food-wise. There are four washing machines and two large dryers. The washer are on the small side but the dryers are large. They take a large number of coins., which staff can provide. The directions are a little difficult to follow but staff was very patient explaining it to me. You basically pay for a wash, then separately a spin cycle, then the dryer. I had to use the dryer twice to fully dry my clothes, but it was a big load, and I didn’t use the highest heat as recommended by staff. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Barely anyone there until around noon, at which time it became packed. Try to get...
