I recently visited this wonderful restaurant with my girlfriend, drawn by their unique offering of exotic Nepali cuisine and a collaboration with a local brewery. This partnership resulted in an exciting and well-curated selection of beers expertly paired with their dishes.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff greeted us with genuine friendliness, making us feel right at home. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food—each dish was a delicious exploration of flavors new to me, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Nepal.
A standout moment was when the chef personally came to our table. We had an engaging conversation about the various beer and food pairings, which added a special touch to our dining experience. It’s clear that the team here is passionate about what they do, and it shines through in both their food and service.
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. Whether you’re a food enthusiast or a beer lover, this place promises a...
Read moreI had high expectations for this place because I read so many positive reviews about it. But when a place becomes quite popular sometimes quality starts to go down a bit. Or maybe it was just an unfortunate day for me and my friend. It was pretty packed and since the place is not that big there isn’t much space between the tables. The food took a lot of time to come, more than 20 minutes and we got served after some people who came after us, which wasn’t very pleasing. Everything tasted good, especially the soup momo. It was tasty and had a lot of umami. Don’t expect to come to this place to get full though, what they have are mostly dishes and snacks good for sharing, to eat while drinking something. The best thing was the service: the guy who served us, even if he was very busy with serving and cooking, took his time to explain to us every single dish. It was obvious that he cared about this place, and I think that was the best part of the experience. I will probably come back and see if my friend and I just...
Read moreMomo Che is a culinary gem that delivers not just food but an experience! Their Jhol Momo on Sundays is a treat you simply cannot miss. The dumplings, paired with their signature Piro Achar, transport you straight to the streets of Nepal. The flavors are so authentic and vibrant that you can almost feel the Himalayan breeze with every bite.
As a walk-in customer, I was fortunate to snag a seat—this place is buzzing for a reason! While the momos are the star, the new addition to their menu, the Chicken Soup Momo, deserves a standing ovation. This hearty broth, made with Norwegian, locally sourced, high-quality chicken, is a comforting bowl of joy. The Nepali spices, including timmur and aduwa, added a warm, earthy depth that made me feel like I was sitting in a cozy local bhatti in Nepal.
Between the perfectly crafted momos, the rich soup, and the bold, unforgettable Piro Achar, Momo Che has set the bar incredibly high for authentic Nepali cuisine. It’s a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor flavors that...
