I was deeply disappointed with my evening spent in this restaurant.
About service: We went for a âsummer menuâ, only to be asked by our waitress if we have ordered âfull menuâ or not later in the evening when she was not sure what to bring for desert (apparently, full means summer menu + all extras). Iâve asked for 2 oysters and 1 portion of mussels on top of the menu. The lady brought the mussels portion for two. When we said that weâve explicitly asked for one portion, she answered, that it was a misunderstanding and that weâll be charged for one portion only, ok. Weâve suggested that we would be ok if she takes this away and brings a portion for one instead. She insisted on keeping it and suggested that we can get it packed for take away if itâs too much. Weâve managed this portion but could barely eat the main course, it was too much, so weâve asked to have it packed. The waitress did it, but remarked that normally they donât do it. Iâve asked why. She said that it doesnât look good, itâs a Michelin restaurant (she suggested it earlier herself!). I could not believe that in such a restaurant service personell is communicating with guests in this way.
It took two and a half hours to get through the dinner, with excessive and tedious waiting between the courses.
After that, the lady bringing us water was doing it in a passive-aggressive manner, she was clearly dissatisfied and was showing it in the way she was rudely putting the bottle of water, doing it in abrupt and jerky movement, without looking at us or saying a word.
Now about food: Oysters were good. Salami was tasty. The rest of the food was okayish, some of it over-salted. We didnât get the fries, which were supposed to be with the mussels (it would be way too much, but itâs written in the menu). Dessert was a disappointment - way too sweet. Sorbet managed to be at the same time too sweet and having absolutely no taste except sweetness.
Cocktails: Disappointing. I canât believe cocktails are served anywhere in Oslo in such glasses (see photos). We didnât find them tasty, but maybe itâs because of the whole experience, canât say for sure. We were hoping to get this cocktail in a copper mug, as is common elsewhere.

Servitrisen, som ga et fresht og Älreit fÞrsteinntrykk, ble brydd sÄ fort en av oss spurte om man ikke kunne bytte ut pommes frites'en med et annet tilbehÞr til en rett, og ville heller ikke sjekke med kjÞkkenet. Det var veldig fÄ andre gjester der pÄ dette tidspunktet. Men uansett ikke noe man regner med, sÄ dette var ikke noe problem. Deretter - en forrett som skulle deles av alle ble lagt frem pÄ midten av bordet uten Ä gi oss tallerkener. Fortsatt en bagatell, og vi gjorde ingenting ut av det og tilpasset oss i stedet. SÄ bestilte noen av oss samme type biff hvor den ene ble servert gjennomstekt og varm og den andre rÞd og kald, som om den ene hadde stÄtt og ventet i en halvtime fÞr den ble servert. Forskjellen pÄ de to var pÄfallende. Servitrisen ble nÄ brydd over at vi bad om Ä fÄ den ene stekt litt bedre, mens chef'en tydeligvis ble fornÊrmet og gikk fÞrst med pÄ Ä steke biffen litt til ved andre forespÞrsel. Deretter glemte servitrisen Ä ta med noe som vi tidligere hadde bedt om, som vi vennlig minnet henne pÄ uten Ä kritisere, men i stedet for Ä vÊre normalt ydmyk sa hun at hun glemte det pga alt styret med biffen:D Interessant reaksjon Ä skylde pÄ gjestene for egne feil, selv uten Ä ha fÄtt kritikk for det, men la gÄ.
Senere klarte samme servitrisen Ä sÞle mat pÄ ei annen av oss, slik at hun nÄ mÄ rense frakken sin. Det var fortsatt lite ydmykhet Ä spore, men nÄ klarte i det minste servitrisen Ä beklage seg uten mulighet til Ä skylde pÄ andre, og ga oss en vÄtserviett for Ä tÞrke av. Da vi skulle betale sa de at det ikke var mulig Ä betale separat, sÄ da mÄtte vi betale samlet, men det vet vel de fleste at handler om latskap hos de ansatte, og det var mer enn nok servitÞrer pÄ jobb ift antall gjester. I motsatt fall kunne alt vÊrt litt mer forstÄelig, dersom stedet hadde bÄret preg av Ä mangle nok ansatte. Vi betalte samlet og tipset fortsatt raust, fordi vi i motsetning til FYR er storsinnede (med unntak av denne anmeldelsen:) - men det er ganske sprÞtt Ä ha betalt sÄpass mye for en sÄpass dÄrlig mat- og serviceopplevelse. Delvis inkompetanse kan man alltid akseptere, men nÄr dette er blandet med dÄrlig attitude sÄ finnes det ingen unnskyldning for Ä ikke forbedre seg.
