Place: 4/5 Experience: 5/5

Of course your experience will depend on the artwork. I had the pleasure of seeing Ahmed Umar's Glowing Phalanges with 99 prayer breeds made of various objects.

Regular entry ticket: 120,- nok Student entry ticket: 100,- nok Under 20: free of charge Under 30: 60,- nok

In the basement there's toilet and space to store your belongings free of charge. Downstairs you can enjoy Lofthus...

Awesome show by the great Tom Sandberg, norwegian photographer died around oneyear ago. Very steep strais leads into two twin very big rooms with Sandberg's works divided in two sections, one more mental and reflective, the other more direct. Also had lunch before at the cafeteria on the ground floor, full of big windows and natural light coming in from the park in front of the museum; had a delicious fish soup and a...

A cool space, with the best bookshop I have yet to find in Olso. The exhibition we saw was free, although I have a feeling the main show was in construction and may not be free. One of Oslo best pizza places and museum/cinema to boot! Lots of vegan options. Most meal option are customisable also. Staff is highly accommodating and friendly. Family and kid friendly. No rail/easy entrance for strollers, but staff helped carry it up. And you can park on the porch or bring inside.

The pizza was great in taste, kudos to the chef. Alas it isn't sliced when it's served! I would expect the pizza to be pre-sliced when paying 190 nok for a Ø30 cm pizza 😬 The interior seems to be inspired by the 70s Soviet which benefits the exhibitions.
