A very unremarkable place — we noticed it by chance in the Majorstuen area, "China Town". We decided to have lunch there, as we love Chinese cuisine and expected rich, flavorful dishes. Unfortunately, that’s not what we got.
We ordered the lunch menu for 135 NOK. We had rice with chicken and vegetables: one dish came with a tomato-based sauce, the other with some kind of white "slurry." Both dishes were completely tasteless — no salt, no pepper. We had to add soy sauce, salt, and pepper ourselves just to get some flavor. It felt like we were eating in a Chinese hospital, where everything is bland and overly dietary.
The service also left a bad impression. The waitress didn’t greet us or say goodbye. She brought the food and, right after we finished eating, brought the payment terminal without us asking. It felt like we were being told, “you’ve eaten — now leave.” Maybe she was tired (there was a large Chinese group dining before us), but that doesn’t justify such poor service.
On the plus side — the interior. Chinese decorations, paintings, vases, dishes — all of that created a nice atmosphere. But with no music and such service, the sense of comfort quickly disappeared.
It’s a shame, because I truly love Chinese culture and cuisine. Perhaps some people might enjoy this very "authentic" style, but it wasn’t for us. Not sure we’d return. It’s up to you to decide whether it’s...

We encountered a couple of minor issues during our visit: though we ordered Cola Zero, we received regular cola, and when we asked for a water carafe, we were only offered a single glass. This approach reflects a certain adherence to their preferred way of doing things, but it didn't significantly impact the overall pleasant experience.
The food itself was delicious, with dishes arriving promptly, and the server was attentive, clearing plates quickly and offering refills on water when needed. The restroom showed a bit of wear—some graffiti and a curious hole in the wall—but it was very clean and well-maintained, showing attention to detail.

Read morePassed many times at the door of this restaurant, and when finally decided to eat there, what a disappointment. In my first and only visit to this Chinese restaurant, we asked for some plates from the menu and a won tong soup. The plates were salty and took only 2 minutes to cook and serve. That was odd. Next when we tried the food, it was salty, and the won tong soup was nothing like we ever tasted... horrible. We didn´t eat it as having lived 10 years in China, never did we found such a bad soup. So we left it as it was on the table, uneaten. At the end when the bill was presented, the soup was charged even-though we barely touch it and complained about it. We explained in Norwegian and English we did not eat the soup because it was horrible, and if it was not removed from the bill, we would never come back to restaurant again. But the woman did not care, and still charged us as if their soup was excellent. So this is to tell you what to expect if you go and eat there. Never in 10 years of living in China did I came across such bad service and bad food as on this Chinese restaurant in...
