W.B. Samson Majorstuen — Restaurant in Oslo

Been going to this place for many years, but I think today was the last time. Quality has declined big time, although the have recently refurbished (not particularly inspiring though, it is bright and not particularly cosy). Unfortunately their newest staff, who are quite young, are rude, grumpy, and quite disgusting. Could not sell pieces of chocolate cake because they were going to have it sitting on the shelf for later next day to be sold while. Laziness and poor attitude. Staff also stuffing their face with baked goods behind the counter when they think nobody's watching (with crumbs around their mouth to show it. Seemed like someone was forcing them to be there. Perhaps this is what happens when leaders are not there on a Sunday. The chain has good tasting stuff, but...

Although I love All their bakery but this place has an issue hiring friendly professional people behind the disk, I ordered cortado coffe and got like two slurps in my cup, when trying to explain that this is not how you make cortado the employee insisted it is!! Excuse me but that's not the first time I order cortado in my life! I had to pay for it anyway as the employee refused to change it with coffee latte. Bad job Samson, this is not how you treat...

W. B. Samson hands down has the best cinnamon buns in Oslo. And all bakeries stick to the recipe of ideal, crunchy buttery crust and sweet soft batter on the inside. Can't get enough of them. And the coffee served here is great too, perfect combination! Buuut. There is really, almost no space for comfortable sitting by the walls. Not very comfy. But I overlook that because the patisserie is on a whole...
