When I saw our table I realised right away how it was going to be my boyfriend’s dinner birthday. We got a table by the wall where was empty while the main room had many available tables through the evening. Started there. The waiter sitting us, gave the menu but didn’t give us time to look before asking what we wanted to drink as soon we told no cocktails after his question. The drinks and food came quickly, too quickly, actually. We had chosen the Sunday Roast and the food came like, 5min after the drinks. The beef was cold and looked like was done for a while, completely tasteless. Didn’t have a chance to complain since we were forgotten there. We were forgotten many times, to get the table cleaned, to have menu for dessert (I had to get up and go ask, again), to order dessert, even to pay. The waiter that took the payment apologised many times even before I complained, after a solid, we came to the conclusion that wasn’t all his fault at all. The apple pie was very good, but at that point didn’t actually mattered. I didn’t took the bad reviews seriously and wanted to try this restaurant for a very long time, it’s a shame it was such (expected)...

The good: -Food was hot -Wine pairing recommendations were good -French fries and béarnaise sauce were tasty

The bad: -No one came to take our drink order for over 20 minutes (our waitress would disappear for long periods of time and skip our table, but the other two waiters seemed to be very attentive) -The rib eye steak had almost no fat, no seasoning, was pre-cut without letting it rest meaning the juices all came out, and was cooked unevenly (one side was rare the other was almost medium well) -The appetizers are very expensive for almost no food and low quality (the shrimp had 4 little baby shrimp and the oysters were small and bland) -The green beans and shrimp were also bland. Someone needs to give the kitchen salt and pepper.

Overall I cannot recommend this restaurant when there are so many other options in the area. There needs to be major improvements in both service and food and I hope it gets better in the...
