Kullt — Restaurant in Oslo

We had a great time at Kullt.

The food and beverages were excellent. The sirloin steaks were perfectly cooked to medium and had a very nice natural flavor. They were garnished with a tasty salad and some great potatoes. The sauce béarnaise was exceptional, the best I’ve personally ever had. Additionally, we had garlic bread as a side, which was simply lovely. The truffle aioli was great too. You could tell that the kitchen staff creates meals with passion and joy.

The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. The recommendations were spot-on, the service was outright professional, and the general energy and vibe were very joyful, which was contagious.

The restaurant itself had a nice setting, and it was very pleasant during our stay. The restrooms were clean too. Additionally, you can get a view inside the kitchen, which is a nice touch.

The restaurant is located in a popular area in Oslo sentrum and it is mainly a grill restaurant and bar with a limited menu for the food. They have only two types of burgers on the menu and one is vegetarian. So basically they serve only one type of burger with meat. In situations like this, and with such prices, the customers’ expectations are very much higher than a restaurant with 5, 6 types of burgers on the menu. But I should say that the burger was not anything special. The quality of the meat was good, but the bread was cold, even the cheese was not melted completely. The potatoes and the side sauce were OK. The waiting time between ordering the food and getting it was pretty short since we were there before the restaurant got crowded. The staff were very nice and professional. I hope we see some improvement next time we visit...

1)The most expensive grilled chicken I've ever had!!!!!It's a golden chicken!🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😤😤😤🤬 32 euro just to eat grilled chicken with some french fries!?really??and they bring it entirely, without even cutting it! The waitress didn't specify it when "selling" it, she just said "chicken"Likewise I could have bought in the food damn court!!!

2)They don't have WIFI working, on my request to restart the router, they said they can't...what? The indifference of the waitress just left me speechless. The level of service is very low. But to come and to ask how is the chicken, yes, she could do it! The waitress said she could share with me her mobile internet when I'll pay, but not before that... The staff is not helpful at all, that totally sucks. I wish the management could invest in a better wifi system and service...
