Lille Saigon — Restaurant in Oslo

We, together with a 3 years old, waited in line for 10 minutes and was seated by a waiter. While we were reading the menu, the waiter told us to leave the table immediately, cos there was a reservation group coming. There was no sign on the table showing it supposed to be reserved! We were told to be waited in the queue again, and the group behind us also had a reservation but obviously no table was reserved for them. Wondering whether another group needed to give away their table or it was just for parents with kid. We left and will not come again. We had visited this place several times throughout many years. The food taste is at an average level If you don’t mind too many umami added to all the dishes. The quality of the food does not deserve the poor service. Don’t drop by, and be extra careful if you come with a small kids. The restaurant will count you as non profitable customers, and...

Being unfriendly with their customer takes away the good experience. They can start by being nice when you walk-in, especially the manager making a stance and walking directly like he wanted to fight. We are sitting near the door and we can see the manager just wont even make the incoming guests feel welcome. There is one guy asking the manager if they happen to kept his gf’s purse since thats the last place they went before it went missing, manager shows like he dont care, it was the waitress that actually happily help the guy. Im not so sure if the old guy was a cook or also a waiter, he has the cook’s hat, taking order was a mess, wont even say anything. Food was great, waiter and waitress was very helpful. Manager can be better! Watch out for his mouth as he speaks their langauage, feels like cursing everyone, when things wont go...

I recently moved to Oslo for work and I tried a few vietnamese restaurants in town. Since my friends told me about this place. I decided to give it a shot. It took almost half an hour since the moment I walked in and when the food was brought to my table. It wasn't even rush hour because I went there around 2pm... I ordered their pork ribs and shredded with rice. As you can see there was hardly any shredded pork on my plate. Not to mention the pork meat was overcooked therefore it was dry and chewy. The seasoning was fine though. Besides the rice was cheap rice not even basmati rice. Very disappointing experience at this place. For me it's way overpriced and I personally don't think about coming back anytime soon. As a result this place only deserves 2 stars...
