A Hidden gem in the heart of Downtown Oslo.
Tilt is a retro gaming-themed bar-esque place. It's rather spacious with its 2 1/2 floors (only one being above ground, worry not thou as it maintains a decent airflow even through a crowded evening). It also has a nice and differing from person to person gaming knowledgeable staff.
Tilt has an array of games to chose from such as Pacman, Time Crisis, Sega Rally Championship and the list goes on. They also have more analog games (in lack of a better term) being pool and shuffleboard. When you enter the Bar you can chose to buy tokens which you use for the different games.
In addition to being great for gaming, Tilt also has a wide selection of beers as well as drinks. And while you take a seat to enjoy your beverage you'll see that the booth sections of the bar has tables with retro games in them, which I found to be a clever addition to their already...
Read moreSuch a fun and nice place, an amusement place with everything from arcade and flipper games to pool. They also have 9 or 10 shuffle boards to enjoy your time as well. When I was here playing shuffle board on the basement floor I could barely see the stairs. It’s usually very crowded so be smart and book a table in advance. Of course there is a bar which you can see as soon as you enter his place. The price for 60min of shuffleboard is around 250kr and they are counting 5kr per minute which is...
Read moreTilt is a wonderful bar offering the perfect combination of a wide range of craft beer and a variety of old school arcade games. They specifically have a number of good shooting games such as Time Crisis etc. They also have a lot of pinball machines if that’s your thing (it’s not mine), and quite a few shuffleboard tables. The bar is spread out over three different levels and there is a lot room inside for groups. There was only one person on the bar on a Saturday afternoon so service was a bit slow at times. The only slight disappointment is that they didn’t seem to have any board games, but it’s probably a bit too dark inside anyway. Well worth a visit and I wish there was a similar...
