OCHE — Restaurant in Oslo

If I had only come here for the food, they would have gotten 1 star. The nachos were just chips, salsa, and cold cheese sauce. I cannot wait for the day that Norwegians understand that nacho cheese sauce is supposed to be hot, not cold. The chips were blue corn chips and were extremely salty and quite stale. My two friends got the fish and chips and neither finished them because they both said it had a weird taste. The fries had no salt, so I guess they used all their salt on the chips. When my friends asked for ketchup for their fries, they were told they didn't have ketchup. The only thing we ordered that was edible was the falafel, which was also served cold. They have table service, but our waiter spent all of her time either talking to the staff in the kitchen or talking to the staff at the bar. We asked three different servers if we could pay for the food, they all said they would let our server know. Either none of them did or they did and our server didn't care because it took her over 30 mins to come to our table to allow us to pay. Their only redeeming quality is that they had some awesome cocktails and a lot of seating. Their fruity mule is on my top of favorite cocktails ever. I would come back here to have drinks since I live right around the corner, but it's not a place I would go out of my way for and I would definitely never order food...

We went on a Tuesday night, very nice /cozy decoration, perfect lighting, we wait at the door more than what I expected since I saw a lot of people working but no one paying any attention to the door and the qué that was waiting to be sit behind us, we didn't play darts, but we wanted to eat something, kitchen was open and we order pizzas (Parma and quatro formaggi) both very good in taste and size.
