Subway — Restaurant in Oslo

My experience on the subway was VERY BAD . Nowhere else in Norway has this happened to me. I wanted to order a menu, and I asked if I could speak English because I still don't speak Norwegian so good . The employee who served me refused to speak in English , she answered in Norwegian and she told me VERY RUDE and UNFRIENDLY to learn norwegian. I think that everyone want to speak norwegian if lives here , but not everyone can take FREE courses . Her coleague was speaking english but she was taking care of someone else . I am asking , how a tourist should proceed if he is first time in Norway and he want to order something at Subway ? He have to take norwegian courses first ?
