This review is based on the service that my family and friends had last Thursday. We had an issue that was unnecessarily escalated by the general manager of the restaurant.
We arrived to have some drinks after having dinner. We had food left over for a friend who joined us who haven't ate, so they had a small bite at the table. The general manager proceeded to come by and told us we couldn't eat outside food. We are not from the country and are visitors. We didn't mean any wrong with our actions. She then ultimately kicked us out with no warning or understanding. We tried to speak with her that we understand the rules and we will not be disrespectful but the general manager refused to listen. When we tried to discuss a mutual resolution for all parties, she also would not listen and continued to kick out my cousin who was already at the establishment with another group before we arrived. He was only trying to reach an understanding, however, the general manager said whatever she says goes and went to call the security. We were extremely confused as to why the situation escalated to that point. It was unnecessary and unfair. Eventually the general manager kicked out the remaining party that also tried to reason with the general manager. Basically, there is no reasonable discussion with the manager and any attempt seems to result in security escorting you out. My rating is not for the establishment, but directed to the general manager and how she managed the situation that evening. It was very disappointing and quite honestly humiliating. I would have like a resolution that satisfies both parties but the general manager certainly did not make that an option. It became evident from the start that the general manager simply did not care about customer satisfaction or listening to reason. It seemed as if she was on a power trip, disregarding all logical arguments presented to her.
Despite providing clear evidence and logical explanations for my concerns, the general manager arrogantly dismissed them without any consideration. It was frustrating to see such a lack of empathy and willingness to engage in constructive dialogue. It appeared that her primary focus was exerting her authority rather than finding a mutually beneficial solution.
The general manager's dismissive and uncooperative attitude left a lasting negative impression on me. I strongly discourage others from engaging with this establishment, as the top management clearly lacks the ability to address customer issues in a reasonable and fair manner. We had to search for a table ourselves, and unfortunately, the one we found was dirty. As our friends joined us, finishing up their takeout, the manager approached our table with anger and promptly kicked us out for bringing outside food.
