We stopped by on a weekday in January 2023. This small restaurant, located in a tiny street near Breitorget, serves as the name suggests, both sushi and Thai. As this was a cold January evening, we decided to focus on Thai food. I started with the classic soup Tom Yum Goong. This is a soup flavored with galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and it contains shrimps. I have been to Thailand a few times, but that does not make me an expert on Thai food of course but this tom yum goong was good. It was spicy, rich and full of flavors, but I did find it to be a bit sweet! Nikki had a couple of halibut nigiri and they were also good. As main dish, I decided to have prawn in green curry while Nikki had the panaeng curry with chicken. We did ask for it spicy and we got what we wanted! The panaeng curry was hot and there were lots of chilis hiding in the sauce and in between the chicken pieces. I found it to be a bit salty, but it did not stop us from enjoying the warmth of this spicy dish. The green curry was also very good and quite spicy, and there was a lot of prawns to my surprise. As we did share the food and only took a bit of rice and curry at the time, it would have been great if our plates had been pre-warmed. All in all, thanks for a spicy and warming dinner on a cold January night. This brought back good memories from our trips...

Service is too slow. Had to wait 45 min or more for springrolls and when I finally got them, they were frozen inside. I got new ones after I complain. They brought the food after this but it was not what I had ordered, then I had to go and check with the menu on hand what I had ordered, they say the would fixed it. I had to wait again while my husband was half way with his food. I got the dish but to be honest it was no worth it and I couldn't eat it. I left very dissapointed. I must say that we choose Thai mat, but it seems that if you go for sushi you may be more lucky. The family sitting next to us, where also waiting around 45 min for food. Those who order sushi got it first but those that asked for Thai food had to see other eating and finishing their food before the got served their dishes. If a restaurant is offering to cucine then they should communicate in the kitchen in a better way and get serve the full table at once, independently if is sushi or Thai what is ordered or just cut out one of the cucine. Dont know is we will give a...

I ordered tuna expecting fresh sashimi, but what I received was very different from proper bluefin tuna. The fish was red but had a dry, flaky texture, almost like the back meat (akami) that is not usually served as sashimi. It did not taste fresh and was quite disappointing.

It seems more like yellowfin or a lower-quality cut (possibly blood meat) rather than premium sashimi-grade tuna. If the menu had clearly stated the type and cut of tuna, I would have made a different choice. Very misleading and unsatisfactory experience.

The storage condition of the tuna also looked poor. The pieces were placed directly on paper towels inside the display, with visible dryness and slight discoloration, suggesting oxidation and loss of freshness. This kind of handling does not seem hygienic or suitable for...

Delicious Thai Food and very fresh Sashimi & sushi. I came across this humble restaurant while taking a stroll around Stavanger town. My first visit was a takeaway Shrimp Pad Thai and it was one of the best Pad Thai I had (even compared to the Thai food in Malaysia). I find myself keep coming back to try the rest of the items on the menu. I was saddened when one of my favourite thai restaurant closed down and I am glad I found Wanna. Will definitely come back when I come back to Stavanger for a visit. Highly recommend Pad Thai, Green curry, and their sushi/shashimi

To quote an earlier review - this is a hidden gem, and hidden gem it certainly is. This is a review for the rolls and nigiri, which were really excellent. Not only did everything taste good, but even the presentation was awesome, and the staff were really friendly. Compared to Southern California and sushi prices there, this was really well priced and far less than what we would pay at home. Would definitely come here again when visiting Stavanger
