Pjolter & Punsj — Restaurant in Stavanger

Honestly a pretty mediocre experience. Surprising because it seems so well liked, but we didn't truly care for the drinks or place for the most part.

I think there are certainly better/more fun spots in Stavanger to go - their location is nice. The indoors is a bit cramped.

The menu is interesting, but maybe not that conducive to the taste profiles we enjoy. Normally, we get multiple drinks at a bar, but after one we were both more than happy to check out somewhere else.

The bartenders were nice, but seemed to be too busy to really give their opinions/thoughts on drinks and how to best represent their bars...

One of my favorite bars in Stavanger! Its a bit pricy but the cocktails are really good- you can find everything like sour, sweet and bitter in a good way cocktails.

The only down side is that its sometimes too dark and really hard to talk with people due to loudness. I was here only on the weekends and i always had to scream to talk. If you want to “talk” or to have a romantic setting, this aint the bar to go. (But so many bars are like this in stavanger so its not the worst) It could be different on the weekdays when there are...

I am not going to say "hidden gem" as they are well known for making great cocktails. But I'm impressed by this small cocktail bar as they seem to focus on making drinks based on typical Norwegian spirits (e.g. aquavit) and they have some awesome flavor combinations.
