I had the unfortunate experience of working at Hansen for a brief period, even though the place looks great and most of the colleagues were friendly. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with hostility and disrespect from my employer Jannis.
During my very first shift, Jannis made it clear with raising his voice that questions were not welcome, and any attempt to understand my responsibilities was met with passive aggressive answers.
Despite my efforts to exceed expectations and show initiative, the treatment did not improve. Second day I was working longer hours without adequate breaks, including being denied a request to try and see if I can reach my baby daughter so I can see her and take a break if that is the case. This disregard for basic human needs was not only demoralizing but also indicative of a toxic work environment.
On my final day, when I attempted to address these concerns with Jannis, I was met with dismissiveness and a complete lack of empathy. He callously brushed off my issues as "personal problems" and promptly terminated my employment deleting all my shifts for the whole week without any prior warning.
It's evident that Jannis not only mistreats his staff but also lacks basic decency in his interactions with customers. Hearing from the manager Yvette about a young colleague berated to the point of tears on her second day there was a clear indication of the toxic culture that permeates Hansen Hjørnet.
Furthermore, the manager's nonchalant attitude towards the abusive behavior, dismissing it as "normal stress," speaks volumes about the overall disregard for employee well-being.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against anyone considering employment at Hansen Hjørnet until they make some big changes with there attitude and aproach. The rampant disrespect and hostility fostered by Jannis create a toxic environment that is detrimental to both employees and...

Read moreA lovely handy pub with FANTASTIC locally brewed beer, Hoppy Joe. Really good quality and wonderful flavour. Plenty of outdoor patio seating with waitress service. We called in to use up our last few Krone before rejoining our cruise ship for the return trip back to the UK. I had 72 Krone left but the very helpful waitress allowed me to pay with the cash and my credit card to settle the bill. The pub itself is very old and quaint and it has an outdoor bar to service the outdoor area. The day we visited it was hot and sunny and packed with tourists and locals but the service was still good...
