Inside Stavanger Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Stavanger

I used to like this place very much because of the atmosphere and very nice personnel. Feb 12 2021 my colleague and I went there to celebrate my Birthday. After ordering food and drinks (you have to do that due to covid regulations) I went for a smoke outside through the front entrance. I got mocked by 2 guys (they sat next to our table in a group of people) due to my American English accent and laughed at while being outside smoking. One of the guys was leaving so they both were outside when it happened. When I got back, the security guard said I have to leave because I have violated the regulations by going out of the restaurant instead smoking in the designated area. (No information about that though) It was the manager who pointed that out. She (the manager) refused to bend the rules a bit and let me in. We just ordered and payed for food and drinks. Well, OK, the other guy who laughed at me and mocked my accent provocatively while outside didn't have to leave because he knew the manager I suppose. It was a very bad experience and it was my Birthday party. I can recommend any place but this one unfortunately. We were bar hopping and ended up in this place pretty early, when they didn't really have any guests. We ended up playing Shuffleboard, had a good time and because we were early guests we didn't really think about it costing anything. Also the barmaid didn't say anything about the pricing. We probably spent around 2-3k on beer during our time there. Then, as we were leaving the host charged us 890 kroner. Obviously I was surprised and asked why. Always get top drawer service, the staff are brilliant. Good music and plenty of pool tables and shuffleboard tables etc. unfortunately the snooker table has been neglected, and could do with being re felted and new rests etc being purchased. Would probably be worth covering the table in the weekends and keeping the accessories behind the bar to avoid future damage & neglect. A friend and I both enjoy playing snooker, and would really appreciate it if the table could be...
