I recently visited Miyako and was truly impressed! First of all, the variety of dishes is amazing — there’s something for everyone. The menu is well thought out, offering everything from classic hearty meals to original and refined options that pleasantly surprise. I ordered sushi, and it was absolutely fantastic! Fresh, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious — some of the best sushi I’ve ever had.
Everything we tried was not only visually appealing but also genuinely tasty. You can really tell the chefs put their heart and skill into every dish.
I’d also like to highlight the excellent service. The staff at Miyako are attentive, polite, and always ready to help with recommendations or answer any questions. The atmosphere is very pleasant and creates the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

It was good though. We tried the manchurian and butter garlic wok which were amazing, considering almost all chinese food restaurant in Stavanger are mostly bland and not authentic enough.
The restaurant's operation itself might be understaff. There was only 1 waiter going here and there to serve all tables. He could not be at all places at once obviously and he missed to take one table's food for several minutes because of taking order from another different table when we were there.
